| First full day on the Bikes (and in the Jeeps for the 4-wheelers). |

| Weather was good. I got to run as Tail-End-Charlie, with the fluorescent bib. The other people on the Bikes were just so resistant to wearing it. No idea why. |

| Del (the guy from California) had a brand new white bike suit. The rest of the group were ribbing him about how clean it was. So, he christened it at one of our stops by doing a Stone Angel in the layby. |

| When we got to our destination that evening. The Hotel Villa Antigua, in Sucre. We realised how lucky we were to miss the rain. We managed to get a cracking photo of the black rain clouds coming in to cover the city. |
