| Everyone was very subdued after Mark's accident on the previous day. |

| We had to wait until our replacement Guide arrived before we set off today. |
| Diego (our support Mechanic) headed off to the hospital in the morning to get us an update on Mark. He was serious but stable. |
| This gave us a bit of time to wander around the town. |
| By pure chance there was a celebration / marching band. Which was a little something to take our minds off the previous days events. |

| Collin, our new guide, arrived late morning and by lunch time we were back on the road. |
