| Machu Picchu. The Inca City in the Sky. |

| We got up early and headed to the Train Station at Cusco. It was a long train journey to the Village at the base of the mountain that Machu Picchu sits on. |
| Once there, we jumped on a bus that took us up the trail to Machu Picchu. Then it was queuing for the Ticket Office. It seemed like we were forever queuing !!! |

| Machu Picchu is a place I've always wanted to vist and it didn't disappointing. It is absolutley spectacular. |

| While there I got bitten to pieces by little sand flies. The bites were really painful and lasted for weeks. |
| |
| When we finished wandering around the City ruins. We decided to head back to the train station for the ride home but the queue for the buses to take us back down were horrendous. So, we decided to walk down. |
| This turned out to be a good decision as we got back in time to grab a drink and jump on the train. |

| A very long day but well worth it. |
