| Headed over to France o the Euro Tunnel. Then headed to our Hotel in the heart of Normandy. |
| On the was to the Hotel. We stopped off at a V1 Launch site at Val-Ygot. That was now a tourist attaction. |
| Then we headed to Pegasus Bridge. A major bridge that was part of the D-Day offensive. It is in Bénouville (just north of Caen). |
| There was also a very good Museum at the Pegasus Bridge. |
| When we finished there we headed to Sword Beach. One of the 5 beaches useed in the D-Day landings. |
| Finally it was onto the Hotel. Which turned out to be in the middle of nowhere. So, we eat at the Hotel. As there wasn't event a nearby pub or restaurant. |
