| This was just a short bike trip over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. With Steve and Alan from Laing O'Rourke. |
| We started out early on the Friday and got the Euro Tunnel to Calais. |
| The plan was to take in some World War II / D-Day sights and Mont Saint-Michel. All of which are in Normandy, France. |
| To do this we were staying in a country Hotel (cn't remember it's name or exactly were it was - Doh!!). Using it as a base to ride out to the places we wanted to go. |
| All-in-all it was a good weekend. I've never been to the D-Day Beaches , or Mont Saint-Michel, before. So, it was all new to me. |
