The day of Rest. Not sure if it was for us, or the Bikes. It certainly wasn't for the Mechanics, they worked all Day and Night fixing up the Bikes for the last Leg of the journey.
With the Bikes safely in the Hotel Car Park, being tended. That left us free to explore Minali.
We were staying in a very nice Hotel. There were tell tail signs that we were back in an area of India more accustom to Tourist. Curry wasn't on the Hotel Menu. Trout and Chips !!!!
TukTuk's were the order of the Day for the lazy. And yes, I was one of the Lazy.
First stop was the Budist Temple, with the Sulpur Spring bath. To be honest the colour of the water was enough to put you off, but you only live once so what the hell. You could really smell the Sulpur, but the water was lovely and warm.
Rest of the day gave us plenty of time for exploring and picking up a trinket or 2. Couple of people tried the local barbers for a shave, but seeing the cut throat razor I took a rain check on that experience.
Wandering up and down the main road was a Donkey with a wonky leg. First thoughts were, "poor thing, bet it won't last long". But on closer inspection it was clearly cared for and appeared in pretty good condition.
